Edna Campos Gravenhorst, an author, researcher and local historian, shares her work documenting the neighborhoods, businesses and everyday stories that define Texas communities.

She is joined by eighth-generation Tejano Homero Salinas Vera, a historian, publisher and descendant of early Spanish settlers in Nuevo Santander, who offers a personal perspective on his family’s ranching heritage and the
generations of Tejanos who helped shape South Texas.
