Full STEAM Ahead: Communicating Through Pictures

🚂 All Aboard for Hands-On Learning Fun!

Learners of all ages can work together and learn about the American West by engaging in hands-on, STEAM – Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics – learning experiences. Families are invited to learn more about Native American pictographs with a presentation and hands-on craft! Rather than using written language, stories were passed down through oral language or pictographs (drawings). After a short presentation, families will create a story using pictures instead of words.

This family program is great for all ages, and all are welcome to participate.

Full STEAM Ahead” programming is a part of Locals Day, where Bexar County residents can enjoy FREE general admission!
Included with general admission for non-residents and FREE for members.
Children 12 and under always receive FREE admission to the Briscoe!
