National Day of the Cowboy – Aloha Vaqueros!

With events all around the country on the 4th Saturday in July, National Day of the Cowboy works to contribute to the preservation of America’s cowboy culture and pioneer heritage.
The Briscoe Western Art Museum celebrates annually with a free community event for all ages to honor the culture of the cowboy, cowgirl, and vaquero. Highlights include live music, crafts for kids, cowpoke games, food truck, and more.
We will tip our hats to the paniolos of Hawaii in conjunction with our summer exhibit Aloha Vaqueros!
