VISIT THE KATE MARMION GALLERY ON LEVEL 3

Enjoy the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo’s Student Western Art Competition Exhibition. Featuring 40 works from the 2026 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo’s Western Art Competition including the 13 winning entries, the pop-up exhibition showcases the best work from the annual contest that includes 183 South Texas school districts or those attending private school or homeschooling across 54 counties .

With this increase we moved from the Clingman Gallery on Level 1 to the Kate Marmion Gallery on Level 3, allowing for greater visibility and an enhanced viewing experience. The exhibition will be on view Jan. 8 – Mar. 1.

What began more than 30 years ago with just seven entries has grown into a statewide program.

This now includes more than 750 student artworks from across Texas each year—a powerful testament to the talent and creativity of our emerging artists.

Don't miss out on visiting the gallery and experience these outstanding works created by a remarkable group of young artists!
